There are those who said everything would be alright but honestly, I wasn’t. I cried from the inside. Those words they said hurt me so much that I did something. Alone, I cried my eyes out, but no one knew. They thought I was taking a nap. I was in my room and taking out the pain.

“Oh she’s just fine,” they said. “She doesn’t need help.”

That’s not true.

They know my name but not my story. They don’t know how much pain I went through. I cry myself to sleep every night, hoping the pain will go away, but it doesn’t.

Those girls said so many things! One day, they will all regret. Those words will be said to them, and they will be the ones crying themselves to sleep — just like I did. They think they’re tough, but they’re not. They will get a taste of their own medicine.
