As part of National Manufacturing Day in October, Mr. Tierney’s Technology students toured KMF Metal Fabrication company in Fort Smith. Vice President Christy Koprovic discussed the skills needed to operate the machines and to make goods needed by other manufacturing facilities in the region.

Later in October, Mr. Tierney’s students participated in UAFS’s Adopt a Professor program.

“They gained a crash course in computer programming,” Mr. Tierney said.
