With a heart of gold, KC Bennett, 9th, strides through Kimmons’ halls with pure confidence.
“I would describe myself as goofy, creative, kind, a dreamer, imaginative, and both loud and quiet,” KC said.
KC values family because she believes that they are most important.
“My most influential family member in my life is my Nana,” KC said. "She influenced me in how to be strong, independent, and how to be myself."
KC also likes to travel.
“My best travel experience is when I went to Virginia with my Nana because we stopped in Missouri, did a lot of fun activities, and got to spend more time together,” KC said.
KC values her friendships, which she feels are runner up to "most important."
“Friends are extremely important to me because they can be my runaway when there’s problems, and they give me someone to confide in and to experience life with,” KC said.
Cole Grist, 9th, is one of KC’s closest friends.
“KC is smart, funny, and weird,” Cole said. “My favorite memory is when KC came to my house and helped me and other people destroy a computer.”
Mrs. Pierce is one of KC's favorite teachers.
"KC is smart and funny and better at Spanish than she thinks she is," Mrs. Pierce said. "She loves to go on field trips, especially the time we went to Tulsa and our bus broke down. We had to borrow one from Union High School to go get lunch."
