As the teacher talks, Kaila Lindsey, 8th, is huddled up in her pink coat, drawing, and tapping her foot non stop.
“I would describe myself as weird and awkward because that's what all of my friends say,” Kaila said.
Aside from her quirky personality, Kaila has some favorite hobbies.
“I enjoy soccer because it is interesting to watch,” Kaila said.
Other than watching soccer, Kaila loves to play her viola.
“My favorite thing about Kaila is her desire to play music and improve herself,” Mr. Hansen, Orchestra teacher, said.
Not only does Kaila love soccer and orchestra, she always enjoys hanging out with her family.
“My favorite memory with my family is when they adopted me when I was two,” Kaila said.
She also has those bad days with her siblings.
“I know Kaila's older brother Brian and sister Jasmine, and I can picture Kaila arguing with them sometimes, especially with Brian,” Mrs. Holland said.
