With the wind blowing her long, wavy hair backwards, Jessica Matamoros, 8th, stands waiting for the pitcher to throw the ball at lightning speed. The sun shines into her dark-brown eyes making them seem as if they were red.
“I like to hit the ball because I let out my anger and excitement on the hit,” Jessica said.
Not only does Jessica enjoy softball, but she also likes watching movies.
“My all-time favorite movie is Pixels because it has characters from all of the old games I liked to play, and it’s so funny,” Jessica said.
Jessica Matamoros is a good athlete as well as a good student.
“I am glad that I got to know Jessica because she is a great student and a lot of fun!” Mrs. Medlin said.
