Joshua Martinez

Joshua Martinez, Reporter

Joshua Martinez, 9th, likes to make people laugh; yet, he gets in trouble for distracting others in class.

“Joshua always has to break the silence by saying something goofy like in math class when he says the wrong answer on purpose,” Yanelli Vargas, 9th, said.

Erendire Vanegas, 9th, first met Joshua in 6th grade when he randomly texted her.

“I would describe Joshua as a kind-hearted, funny person,” Erendire said. “He is always making me laugh, and whenever I am upset, he cheers me up.”

Abraham Vargas, 9th, is Joshua’s best friend.

“He is funny, and I love him,” Joshua said. “I would die for that man.”

In addition to friends, family are also important to Joshua.

“Mom is important to me because she influenced me to stay out of trouble,” Joshua said. “The biggest challenge in growing up in my family with five siblings has been being good because I would rather have fun entertaining others,” Joshua said.
