In the video game, Elden Ring, players must adventure through an open world map and progress through enemies at their own pace with their desired character build. Once in the game, they are introduced to a tutorial on how to play and the basic controls. Upon completing the tutorial, they are faced with a boss, which is the main challenge in soul games, as they have a huge health bar stretching across the bottom of the screen and are very powerful.
After that, gamers are shown a huge open world filled with enemies, dungeons, quests, items, and bosses. The main goal of beating the game is achieved by progressing through the world and killing the main story bosses. Players are supposed to explore, complete quests, and level up their characters to ready themselves for the enemies. They level up by gathering “Runes.” Enemies drop this, and bosses drop a lot of these.
Souls games are known for being really difficult. Elden Ring is designed for players to die numerous times. To be successful, you have to learn attack patterns on all the enemies and the dodging mechanics. Depending on what your playstyle will be, the game will be easier or harder, but overall, it’s exceptionally difficult.
Elden Ring is also insanely high quality and beautiful. It has amazing graphics, and it really shows when you look at some of the attacks in the game, the scenery, and the details engraved into everything. Looking off into the distance while up on a cliff and examining the huge place can be peaceful.
