Staff Spotlight: Ms. Putman (Most Organized)

Ms. Putman has gone from working in a large corporation in Fort Smith to devoting 22 years teaching business at Kimmons. She has been selected for the Staff Spotlight as Most Organized.

“I don’t think much about ‘organization’ because it is just how I operate,” Ms. Putman said. “Being organized as a person is important in all areas of life.”

Ms. Putman felt honored to have won.

“To be selected by my colleagues is such an honor, especially since there are many others who are also deserving,” Ms. Putman said.

Before entering a classroom, Ms. Putman honed her organizational skills as an executive assistant in a large corporation here.

“I loved my job, but knew I was ready for more of a challenge,” Ms. Putman said. “I saw an opening for a business instructor, applied and changed jobs within two weeks.”
