2015 — A Most Deadly Year

The year 2015 was marred by the blood of 39 people shot dead in a total of six mass casualty shootings. In San Bernardino, California, on December 2, American-born Syed Rizwan Farook and his Pakistani wife Tashfeen Malik attacked the Inland Regional Center. Inspired by the wild beast of ISIS, these Muslim extremists killed fourteen people and wounded seventeen more. Fleeing like cowards, they were cornered by police four hours later and killed in a shoot out, leaving behind their six-month old daughter.

On Nov. 27, Robert Lewis Dear walked into a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs, CO, killed three adults, and wounded nine others. Is taking lives and claiming to be a warrior for the babies really a valid excuse for murder? Is Dear a warrior/savior or a madman murderer?

On Oct. 1, Chris Harper-Mercer shot ten people dead and wounded seven on the Umpqua Community College campus in Roseburg, Oregon. Before firing, he had requested that his classmates stand up and state their religion. In the suicide note he left behind, Harper-Mercer said he would be “welcomed in Hell and embraced by the devil.”

On June 17, Dylann Roof, upset over “The black race taking over the world,” opened fire during Bible Study at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, killing nine people. Prosecutors in the case are hoping for the death penalty for Roof, a white supremacist.

The disease that has spread across America is the stupidity and idiocy of people who kill over religion and race. What is next for America — ISIS walking into our very homes murdering your family, dogs, and cats? Will armed Ku Klux Klan members go back to lynching innocent people and burning crosses om front lawns? By the time the American society realizes the larger problems, it will be too late.
