Kim Davis, Rowan County, Kentucky, court clerk, refused to issue marriage licences to same-sex couples, was arrested, and later sued. She stated that issuing the licenses went against her religious beliefs. What happened to separation of church and state? Davis claimed that she worried about the sanctity of marriage. However, she has been married four times! Davis should not bring her religious beliefs into her work place. No matter what her beliefs are, Davis broke the law and should be fired.
