Ja Tearah Wells

Ja Tearah Wells, reporter

The tall, brown-eyed Jatearah Wells, 9th, loves Mexicans and wants marry one in the future and have three kids.

“I’m loud, crazy, bold, talkative, expressive, and influential,” Ja Tearah said.

Something that Jatearah would like to accomplish in life is becoming a CNA. At this point in life, though, her best accomplishment has been meeting more Mexicans out of state.

“The bravest thing I have ever done was leave my best-friend after three long years of friendship because my mom made me move with her to Texas,” Jatearah said.

Now that she has returned from Texas, Ja Tearah finds that her friends even more important.

“I only have one best-friend, Mircale Smith, and I don’t want to lose her,” Ja Tearah said.  “Miracle is so important to me because she has been there for me since second semester of seventh grade.”

Another friend that Ja Teara treasures is Aniya Webster, 9th.

“We have a lot in common, get along fine, and are very close,” Aniya said.  “I can trust her, and I know she has my back. Jatearah also has a positive impact on my life.”

Born in Fort Smith, Ja Tearah has also lived in Spiro and Roland, Oklahoma. She has four siblings whom her mother raised alone. Ja Tearah gets along with all of them, but really only talks to one.

“If there’s one thing I could change, it would be having my brothers living with my mom and I,” Ja Tearah said.

The best advice Ja Tearah has ever received came from her mother: “Don’t ever let someone tell you you can’t do something.”

“Without my mom, I wouldn’t have some of the stuff I have now,” Ja Tearah said.
