Learning When to Leave
Marie cried like a whale as one of her guy friends left her. Months and months passed, and she was still not over him. Marie knew she had to move on for her own good will.
In Mary Schmich’s column “Wear Sunscreen,” she gives the following advice: “Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts. Don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours.” People tend to say things about others and don’t completely know how much pain they have caused. It’s not just words. It’s actions, too. In the past, I have gotten my heart broken by many people — relationships and friendships. It’s best for us to leave these people alone, even though we miss them. We have to let them go in order for us to grow.
I’m currently doing fine. Hair is growing, edges coming back, and I’m actually happy.

People should know that it may not be easy to get over someone, but it’s not good just to wait for them to come back and do it again. Life just goes on, and we can’t change that. If they want to leave, then let them be. You are a stronger person, and there is no need to wait for them to come back if they are going to do the same thing again. It’s better to leave them than get hurt again. That’s how life goes.

Its okay to leave someone that you used to be close with. The were probably making you sad. Its better if you leave them. People come and go.
