Soccer season is coming up and with it comes a huge opportunity for Kimmons’ athletes to also be a part of the Northside team.

Freshmen have their reasons for wanting to play.

“I was inspired to play by my brother because he got a scholarship for soccer, and that’s my goal,” Kaleb Josenberger said. “I look forward to playing with my buddies and trying our best to win state.”

Family also motivated Amber Keomany.

“My mom is my motivation to play hard and to never quit,” Amber said. “She’s done so much for me and supported me all my years playing soccer.”

Aside from family, a good motivation comes from within.

“I get motivated whenever I see someone doing better,” Elisandra Uribe said. “I think that I can play like that if I try hard enough. I look forward to the new challenges on the field.”
