The tall, brown-eyed Tariauh Smith Mayes, 9th, is outgoing and not afraid to speak her mind. In fact, she makes friends easily. She says she is active and loves hanging out with friends.
“My friends are very important to me because if I need them, they are the only people I can count on,” Tariauh said.
Tariauh's friends value her, too.
“Tariauh is sweet, caring, loving, and really funny," Geneva Moody, 9th, said. "She always helps her friends with anything they need."
Geneva's sister Shadiamond agreed.
“Tariauh is funny and really pretty,” Shadiamond said.
Family is also important to Tariauh.
"My favorite memory with my parents is when we go out late at night to ride in the back of the truck with blankets flying in the air," Tariauh said. "Usually, moments in my family are chaotic and so the moments that we do have together are the best moments.”
