November 9 by Colleen Hoover is an emotional rollercoaster of a book that will have you laughing, crying, and questioning yourself. The protagonist, Fallon O’Neil, meets Ben Kessler in a diner when he interrupts her argument with her dad. Later on, Fallon and Ben agree to meet every November 9th until they are both 23 years old, which leads to romance, insecurities, and heartbreak.

Hoover hooked me with the first chapter. The book talks about how important it is to let people go but also keep certain people close. Fallon realizes not only her true potential but also her goals and who she truly wants to spend her life with.
