Reality TV Series Review: Perfect Match

Featuring popular people from other reality TV shows, Netflix’s series Perfect Match gives the contestants hopes of finding “true love.” Rated 4 stars for its debut season, Perfect Match attracted a lot of attention based on the familiarity of the people. Francesca Fargo, Izzy Fairthorne, Chase DeMoor, Chloe Veitch, and Georgia Hassarati had all competed on Too Hot To Handle. Others came from The Circle, Selling Tampa, Love is Blind, and The Mole. If you have watched at least one of these reality shows, then you will recognize some of the players.

The first episode starts off with the contestants getting to know each other. Next, a new player arrives to start trouble. It is nerve-wracking watching the players decide who will go on a date with the new player, who gets chosen at the end of the night, who will be voted the perfect couple, and who wins at the very end. The “Perfect Couple” gets to choose who else comes on the show. To change things up, contestants get switched up, which causes conflict, especially for those already in a relationship. They would still have to go on the date and that girl or boy might choose to pair up with the new player instead of sticking with their partner. Some people might be able to relate to the issue if they have ever been cheated on or broken up with for somebody else. At the end of the season, the “Perfect Match” couple wins an all-expenses-paid week-long vacation anywhere they.

We rate this show 4 out of 5 stars because it is entertaining to watch and never dull, but some of the people were on the show for the wrong reasons.
