Netflix Series Review: Girl from Nowhere
The Netflix series Girl from Nowhere is about a girl named Nanno who transfers schools in Thailand to teach her fellow classmates a lesson on their actions. Some say she is a walking karma. Since she transfers often, there are new places we see. I like it because every school has a nice touch to it. For the cinematography, I’m going to give it a rating of 3/5.
I find the acting ability very fascinating. Chicha Amatayakul plays Nanno very well and brings the character to life. I sometimes forget that she’s just acting. The other actors are just as good. I will give the acting ability a rating of 5/5.
Lastly, the make-up and costuming are impressive. The characters are usually dressed in school uniforms. The make-up is pretty accurate. For example, when one of the characters gets hurt, the actor actually looks bruised and cut up. I’m going to give the costuming a 3/5 and the make-up a 4.5/5.
This is a very interesting, mysterious series that gets you wondering what is going to happen next, at least for me.
